What is BRIDGES Group?
The BRIDGES Group (Humber Coast and Vale) is part of NHS Collaborate, a national, supportive community of leaders across NHS Primary Care.
This regional Group is made up of around 80 healthcare professionals across the Humber Coast and Vale region - clinical and non-clinical.
BRIDGES stands for ‘Building Relationships through Inclusivity to Develop Stakeholder Groups to Lead Emerging Systems.
The objectives of the group are:
- To ensure that no healthcare professional feels alone and is supported by peers. Human connection and relationship are key components of Bridges
- To provide suitable environments for heathcare professionals interested in leadership roles, to meet outside the work environment to learn from and support each other, building networks that can support change and collaborative working.
- Hold events designed to take people outside of their comfort zones to a place where relationships form faster and stronger.
- To generate discussion in the work space in parallel to the group making action easier and facilitating collaboration
